In these first six weeks of school, we worked to develop our writing community. We have spent time practicing what writing workshop looks, sounds, and feels like in our classroom. We have worked together to develop skills as not only writers, but also as writing partners. We are a group of writers who support and celebrate each other!
This week, we ended our poetry unit by creating individual poetry books as well as a class anthology. We marbleized paper using shaving cream and liquid watercolor paint, and the finished products are amazing!
